Essays to be graded are submitted through our website, and feedback will be received which is speedy, accurate and comprehensive from a group of IELTS tutors and ex-examiners.
What will I get for my fee?
The Grade Only package means an examiner will read your assessed writing. You will receive an Overall Score and an individual breakdown of the bands for each of the four assessed areas of:

The Grade and Error Corrections package means you will get the above Grade Only package AND an examiner will read your response, and identify errors or issues within your writing. These will be coded according to their error type. This give you the chance to correct your own errors so providing you with a learning opportunity to benefit from your own mistakes.
The Grade, Corrections and Comments package means you will get BOTH the above packages AND an examiner will provide you with written feedback about your work. Comments are individual to each writing received and the feedback, such as you will receive after an IELTS exam.
This will include beneficial information about the mechanics of your writing, such as Topic Sentences, Academic Register, Structure, Over-reliance, and Word Count. It goes into more detail than simply identifying your errors and will suggest grammatical structures and learning strategies if needed.
There are upgrade options available to you as you progress through the checkout. These options will become available soon.
Remember, full IELTS examinations cost at least £150 GBP, and we just as qualified and experienced as the current examiners. These three levels of service offer great value for money.

How are you different to other IELTS correction services?
Most other websites only allow you to buy multiple essay assessments in one go. We realise this can be expensive. With our system, you can buy one at a time and judge for yourself how many more lessons, or how much more practice you need.
Secondly, you supply your own question. This could be one that you find difficult, or you'd like a second opinion from an independent third-party to assess your writing.
Thirdly, when you have your errors correction coded, your mistakes are highlighted so
you can review and fix them. This is another learning opportunity for you. Other sites will just correct your errors, but their method misses out on you working it out for yourself and self-reflecting, which will lead to more natural and fluent language, thus a higher score.
Tell me about the people who will mark my work
Most other websites claim to be IELTS examiners. Anyone who says otherwise is simply lying or in breach of their IELTS contract and would be fired if they were found out!
We have very experienced assessors, current teachers and even exam task designers. Most work at UK universities and are highly qualified teachers and lecturers in English, assessments, examining writing as well as their own English language specialism. We therefore have a comprehensive knowledge of the entry requirements of UK universities.
We have experience of working with other English language exam boards, university exam boards, and on universities own entrance exams too.
Will you mark my Task 1/Task 2/General/Academic writing?
Yes, we will mark one of each type of writing submitted. If you submit two or more files, we will only mark one. Please ensure you upload the file you want us to mark as refunds won't be given.
What if I disagree with my mark?
In the unlikely event that you are somehow dissatisfied with the service, please let us know. We will do what we can to make amends. If your query relates to the grade received, another examiner will assess your score for re-banding. If there is a greater than 0.5 difference, you will be refunded your fee.

Are there discounts for multiple essays?

How quickly will my work be returned?
The standard time is for your work to be completed within 48 hours, and returned to the email address associated with your payment.
Can I send you my scanned handwritten work?
Yes you can. Upload a pdf of your file for submission. If you prefer to write by hand and then type up your answer, we will accept files from any widely available platform. We will tell you if we need you to resend your file in a different format.
